I am an educator.
For five years, I taught middle schoolers in rural West TN (which is kind of redundant), but I grew up in Chattanooga. In my spare time, I do things that render me with no spare time, like work towards my MA.Ed. in administration, moderate #TNedchat on Twitter, and organize EdcampTN.
As far as titles go, I have a pretty cool one: Director of Member Services for the Professional Educators of Tennessee, the largest teachers association in the Volunteer State. What do I do? Whatever needs to be done, minus signing the checks. I don’t get to do that.
